Serving as the principal Community Development agency in the County, the Redevelopment Authority routinely becomes involved in special projects and initiatives designed to help improve Fayette County.  Most of these projects and initiatives relate directly to community development, economic development, recreation and tourism, and planning and facilitation.  The Authority's involvement in these initiatives ranges from engaging in project planning and proposal preparation activities to direct administration and project implementation.
