Ohiopyle Smart Transportation Initiative

The Redevelopment Authority received a $1.92 million grant to improve the Route 381 corridor through Ohiopyle Borough and the State Park. Funding for this initiative was made available through the Pennsylvania Community Transportation Initiative (PCTI) which is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). The proceeds from this grant will be used to improve vehicular, pedestrian, and bike flow through the scenic falls area, improve safety and access for multimodal traffic, and integrate the river-side and Borough-side of Route 381 as one "village."
