Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST)
The Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) provides funding to local municipalities for water and wastewater improvement projects. PENNVEST funding is competitive and offers municipalities 20 or 30 year loans at reduced interest rates. County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds have been utilized in the past by municipalities to provide matching resources for PENNVEST-funded projects.
